One of the highlights of my stay at the Valley Wing of Shangri-La Hotel Singapore was the benefit of having complimentary champagne throughout the day at the Champagne Bar. This benefit is a notch higher than the complimentary non-alcoholic beverages served at Shangri-La's Horizon Club Lounges.

Shangri-La Hotel Singapore consists of three distinctive wings, the Tower Wing, the Garden Wing, and the Valley Wing. Among the three wings, the Valley Wing is most luxurious, making it the accommodation of choice of head of states, top executives and luxury travelers. The Valley Wing has its own private lobby with its amenities reserved to the exclusive use of Valley Wing guests.
The Valley Wing offers unlimited servings of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut as well as other selections of wines and cocktails and guests can enjoy this benefit anytime of the day except during breakfast time. By 5:30 pm, canapes will also be served to the guests at the Champagne Bar.
There is also a small buffet set-up at the Champagne Bar where Valley Wing guests can get unlimited servings of premium cheeses, charcuterie, breads and fresh fruits. Champagne Bar attendants will readily get your order of drinks.
A selection of canapes will also be served to every table. Just like the afternoon tea, the canape menu was also designed by Chef Christophe Moret of the two Michelin starred restaurant L’Abeille at Shangri-La Hotel Paris. I particularly loved the foie gras which went very well with the champagne. Should you feel like having more canapes, just feel free to ask for more from the attendants.
The Champagne Bar is the area next to the lobby where various seating areas and lounges are available for Valley Wing guests. There are seating areas which are good for two persons, four persons or a group of six persons.
Guests may choose to seat next to the window, or in one of the seating areas located next to the bar. The busiest time in the evening is 6:00 pm as this is when most of Valley Wing guests are back at the hotel coming from work or meetings.
