The Executive Lounge is located on the 9th floor of Hilton Kota Kinabalu and is open daily from 6:30am to 10:00pm. Arriving guests with a confirmed reservation for an Executive Room or a Suite will be assisted by the reception team or concierge to the Executive Lounge for check-in.

Hilton Honors Diamond members are also accorded complimentary access to the Executive Lounge as part of their elite membership benefits. Hilton Honors Gold members who have been upgraded to an Executive Room also enjoy complimentary Executive Lounge access and benefits.

Seating Area
There are plenty of seating options here at the Executive Lounge of Hilton Kota Kinabalu. There are tables that can host solo travelers or groups. The tables are well spread out so that guests can have their own private corner inside the lounge.
One section of the Executive Lounge is furnished with dining tables where guests can enjoy their sundowners and breakfast. This section is also popular among business travelers using their laptops.
This section also has two workstations with internet connection. Complimentary wifi internet is also available inside the Executive Lounge.
The other section of the Executive Lounge features sofas and lounge chairs. This area is intended for socializing and casual meetings. I also saw some guests working here. Guests may also dine here if they wish.
Sundowner
The Sundowner service is available daily from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Alcohol is served between 6:00pm and 8:00pm during which time minors are no longer allowed inside the Executive Lounge. Here are some of the tapas and canapes I tried.
Savory dishes include spicy baby octopus, beef with saffron polenta, and gratin broccoli. These are best paired with red wine.
Here's marinated olives and bruschetta which I enjoyed with white wine. Cold cuts, cheeses, dried fruits, and nuts are also available.
Dessert cakes include opera cake and cheesecake. These are best paired with coffee or espresso-based beverages. Free-flowing juices and soda are also available.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served at the Executive Lounge from 6:30am to 10:30am. Food choices include bread and pastries, cold cuts and cheeses, breakfast cereals, Western and Malaysian hot dishes. There is also a live cooking station for egg dishes. Free-flowing coffee, tea, juices, and soda are included.
Here is the ham and cheese omelet I ordered from the egg station. It can be paired with bread or fried rice.
Here are assorted Western breakfast items, including non-pork sausages, ham, and bacon. There are also hash browns and buttered vegetables.
They do have excellent Danish and chocolate croissants. They also have savory puff pastries. These are best paired with cappuccino or tea.
