The breakfast at the Club InterContinental Lounge consists of a buffet spread of continental items such as bread, French pastries, premium cold cuts, cheeses, breakfast cereals, yogurt, and fresh cut fruits. Guests can also order unlimited servings of Western and Asian hot dishes from the Club InterContinental Breakfast a la carte menu. Below are some of the breakfast dishes I tried.
Nasi Lemak - A favorite among many Singaporeans, this is a complete meal consisting of fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk, fried chicken, hard-boiled eggs, cucumber slices, roasted peanuts, fried anchovies, and a spicy sambal sauce. If available, I always order Nasi Lemak for breakfast whenever I am in Singapore.
Eggs Benedict - A classic American breakfast dish offered in the a la carte menu. Guests can choose between ham or salmon. I chose salmon. I love the crunchy crust of the English muffin which contrasted with the delicate texture of the smoked salmon and poached egg.
Fresh Cut Fruits - I always end my breakfast with a plate of assorted fresh cut fruits. I had watermelon, melon, pineapple, and dragonfruit. All were very juicy and sweet.
The breakfast at the Club InterContinental Lounge is available daily from 6:30am to 10:30am. The busiest time during breakfast is between 8:00am to 9:00am. The Club InterContinental Lounge is located on the second floor.
