► EVENING COCKTAILS & HORS D’OEUVRES
From 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Club InterContinental Lounge guests can enjoy free-flowing wines, beers, cocktails, sodas, and juices to be paired with a variety of hors d'oeuvres. There is a small buffet spread offering salads, charcuterie, fromagerie, bruschetta, and canapes in shot glasses.
Drinks are ordered from an Evening Cocktails menu which includes sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, spirits, local and international beers, cocktails, and mocktails. A must-try is the iconic Singapore Sling cocktail. Juices, soda, coffee, and tea are also available.
Here are some of the canapes I tried from the buffet spread. I particularly loved the Nasi Lemak inspired shrimp cocktail. The watermelon canape was refreshing and effectively cleanses the palate.
Hot items are also passed around by the lounge attendants. I particularly loved the Braised Beef Cheeks and the Chicken Shumai. The buffet spread also includes small cakes and confections which are best paired with coffee.
