The Corner Suite is the lead-in suite category of Holiday Inn & Suites Makati. Commonly categorized as a junior suite in terms of room layout, the Corner Suite is basically a spacious bedroom with an integrated living area.
With the total floor area of 48 square meters, the Corner Suite feels very spacious, especially so because there is no wall separating the sleeping area and the living area. The room design also makes it very convenient to move around the room.

The Corner Suite is furnished with a king bed, two single sofa chairs and a lounger sofa. There is also a work desk perfect for business travelers. There are also plenty of desk level electrical outlet where guests can conveniently charge their laptop or gadgets. The 40-inch LCD television has local and international cable channels.
Complimentary bottled water, Nescafe instant coffee and Dilmah tea bags are provided at the minibar. Guests can heat water using the electronic kettle. The mini refrigerator has canned soda and beer, as well as premium bottled water and fruit juices. Selected brands of spirit are also available. Please note that all items inside the mini refrigerator are chargeable to your account.
The most important feature of the Corner Suite is the bed. The mattress has a thick 100% cotton topper and is covered with 300 threadcount sheet. The duvet added extra comfort inside the air-conditioned room. A pair of soft and firm pillows are covered with clean and fresh smelling covers.
The Corner Suite has an equally spacious ensuite bathroom. It has a single basin with a lighted mirror. There is enough space on the countertop to place your personal toiletries. A vanity kit is provided including two dental sets. Next to the basin is the toilet which is fitted with a bidet.
The tub and shower combo has handheld showerhead installed with flowing hot and cold water. Water pressure was consistently strong. Holiday Inn branded body and bath amenities in citrus and jasmine fragrance are provided in the bathroom. Towels are also clean and fresh.
Across the bathroom is the closet cabinet which has more than enough space for a week-long business trip. Iron and ironing board are also provided inside the closet. For your added comfort, room slippers and bathrobes are also made available.
I find the Corner Suite ideal for couples or small families on a leisure trip or staycation in Manila. The wide-open spaces are perfect for children to play around the room. There is also enough space to accommodate an extra rollaway bed or crib. Business travelers who would like to have extra space in their room will also find the Corner Suite their perfect choice of accommodation.
