The Grand Club of Grand Hyatt Manila occupies half of the total floor area of the hotel tower's 57th floor, making it not only the highest hotel executive lounge (in terms of elevation), but also one of the most spacious hotel executive lounges in Metro Manila. With its height, guests here at the Grand Club are guaranteed with the best panoramic views of the metropolis.
Grand Hyatt Manila guests who booked any of the club rooms or suites will have access to the Grand Club which comes with complementary concierge and business center services and dining benefits. World of Hyatt Globalist Members staying at Grand Hyatt Manila are also accorded with access to the Grand Club, regardless of the room category they booked.
The Grand Club is open daily from 6:30am to 10:00pm. Below are the exclusive benefits available to Grand Club guests during their stay:
- private check-in and check-out services
- concierge and business center services

Access to the 57th floor will be programmed in our electronic keycard upon check-in. If your keycard doesn't work, just call guests services from your room and they will send a hotel staff who will assist you to the Club Lounge.
When we arrived at the lobby of Grand Hyatt Manila, we approached the front desk for our check-in. We were immediately acknowledged as Grand Club guests and were assisted by the receptionist to the 57th floor for our check-in. Our bags were handled by the concierge and were sent to our suite.
We were welcomed by the Grand Club Manager and were led to the seating area of the lounge. After handing may passport, we were offered with drinks and snacks to enjoy while our check-in was being processed. Our check-in didn't actually take too long. Shortly after our drinks were served, we were told that our suite was ready. We of course stayed a little longer to enjoy our drinks.
The all-day refreshments available at the Grand Club include espresso-based beverages, teas, canned soda and chilled fruit juices. Snacks such as cookies, breads and pastries, as well as fresh fruits, are also available.
The Grand Club doesn't really get that crowded throughout the day, which is perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to catch up on some work. Tables are also well spaced I do recommend the side facing the west, which is the left side coming from the entrance of the Grand Club.
As mentioned earlier, Grand Club guests enjoy a one-hour complimentary use of The Boardroom. A group of business travelers normally pool their complimentary hours so that they can use the boardroom for half a day or the whole day. A group of eight business travelers for example will have a total of eight hours complimentary use of the boardroom which can be broken down to four hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon.
The use of the boardroom includes meeting supplies, not to mention the complimentary refreshments, WiFi connection and business services of the Grand Club. Having said this, using the boardroom at the Grand Club is an excellent and cost-effective alternative to renting a dedicated meeting room. It is highly advised that reservation of the boardroom should be done in advance to ensure its availability.
► EVENING COCKTAILS AT THE GRAND CLUB, GRAND HYATT MANILA
The Grand Club is also a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The tables at the west-side of the lounge will guarantee breath-taking views of the city as the sky turns from golden yellow to firy red. Depending on the month, sunset happens between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, which is right on time for the evening cocktails at the Grand Club.
They have good selection of wines which you can pair with cheeses and charcuterie. They also have a variety of spirits which you can mix with juices, soda or tonic water to create some basic cocktails. The hors d'oeuvres selection is rather limited and won't be sufficient for light dinner.
If you wish to have a proper meal to go with your drinks, you can actually order from the in-room dining menu and have it served at the Grand Lounge. We did order my favorite Chicken and Pork Adobo from the menu and had it charged to my account.
Cakes and pastries are also available as part of the hors d'oeuvres selection, and they do make for an excellent dessert. Alternatively, you can have fresh fruits and fruit juices to end your evening.
► BREAKFAST AT THE GRAND CLUB, GRAND HYATT MANILA
Grand Club guests enjoy daily breakfast for up to two persons at the Grand Club. The breakfast at the Grand Club features a buffet selection of breads and pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, cereals, as well as Western and Asian hot dishes. There is also a live cooking station where you can order for your preferred noodle soup dish or egg dish.
It was a Monday morning when we had breakfast at the Grand Club. In line with the Green Monday program of Grand Hyatt Manila, some of the plant-based dishes are also featured in the buffet spread. I had the Beyond Sausage which I paired with fresh garden salad and hashbrown.
From the live cooking station, we ordered egg noodles with chicken balls and chicken broth. I topped it with scallions and caramelized onions. We also got congee from the love cooking station and had it topped with shredded chicken, toasted garlic and sliced century eggs.
Scrambled eggs are made fresh at the live cooking station. In addition to steamed rice, garlic rice is also available upon request. Filipino breakfast items such as longanisa and beef tapa are best paired with garlic rice and scrambled eggs.
Some of the lighter and healthier breakfast options are cereals, muesli, chilled oats, yogurt, fresh salads and fresh fruits. Guests also enjoy free flowing chilled fruit juices, coffee and tea.
I personally enjoyed the breakfast experience here at the Grand Club. There is enough variety of dishes to choose from. If you are looking for a more extensive selection of dishes such as Japanese, Chinese, Indian, plus more options for Western and Filipino dishes, guests can avail of the breakfast buffet at the Grand Kitchen for a special rate of PHP 1,000++ per person.
Alternatively, you can also order from the in-room breakfast menu to supplement your breakfast at the Grand Club. But as I already said, the breakfast options here at the Grand Club are more than enough, not to mention the more attentive service you will get here and the spectacular morning cityscape you can enjoy while having your breakfast.
