Conrad Bangkok is a luxury hotel located along Wireless Road in Bangkok's commercial district of Lumphini. The hotel forms part of the All Seasons Place mixed-use development which also includes a shopping mall, an office tower, and a condominium tower.
Conrad Bangkok recently completed the renovation of its common areas, dining outlets and ballroom. Some of the guestrooms and suites were also renovated. The hotel's atrium lobby now features the use of teak wood which is a material used in temples and traditional houses in Thailand.
Thailand's gracious elegance is expressed with the use of metallic gold and bronze accents in the design, as well as the newly installed contemporary furniture pieces. I particularly love the impression of Thai temples on the walls of the lobby, it gives you a sense of place.
Conrad Bangkok is located near embassies and offices of multinational companies which makes it a favorite among diplomats and business travelers. But with the growing presence of the Hilton group in Asia-Pacific, the hotel is also a popular choice among leisure travelers from Korea, Japan, China and South East Asia.
I have been wanting to stay here at Conrad Bangkok for the longest time, but I decided to wait until the renovation of the hotel is completed. Considering the recent opening of new luxury hotels in Bangkok, the renovation of Conrad Bangkok was indeed a good move. I personally think that the renovation was done excellently that it was so difficult to guess the actual age of the hotel.
Conrad Bangkok has a total of 391 guestrooms and suites ranging from the 41 sqm Deluxe Room to the 238 sqm Presidential Suite. The renovated guestrooms are classified under the Premium category. Complete renovation of the rooms and suites is expected to be completed in September 2019.

Guests staying at Conrad Bangkok enjoy complimentary access to the hotels fitness center which will allow them to keep up with their personal fitness program whether they are in Bangkok for vacation or work. The hotel's fitness and wellness facilities are all located on the seventh floor.
The in-house gym features a wide range of cardio machines and weight training equipment. The gym is quite spacious so it not feel very crowded even during the peak hours in the morning. The gym is open 24 hours to accommodate to the guests' preferred workout schedule.
Conrad Bangkok has an outdoor resort swimming pool that is surrounded by plenty of trees and lush gardens. It's a relaxing oasis in the middle of Bangkok's concrete jungle. The water temperature is controlled to a comfortable range of 25-32 degrees Celsius. There are more than enough loungers for every guest.
Seasons Spa is Conrad Bangkok's in-house wellness center which offers rejuvenating massages and body treatments. The spa has eleven private treatment rooms, including couple rooms with a deep soaking tub or jacuzzi. Season Spa uses Aromatherapy Associates products for all its treatments.
Overall, I was quite happy with my stay at Conrad Bangkok. I did love the design of the renovated Premium Room and as always, the Serenity Bed ensured that I did have an uninterrupted sleep. I was also impressed by the quality of food at Liu Restaurant and Cafe@2. Location-wise, Conrad Bangkok is also a good choice for both leisure and business travelers due to easy access to the BTS line and the expressways. I will definitely stay here again in my future trips to Bangkok.
► CONRAD BANGKOK: LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
Conrad Bangkok is located along Wireless Road in the Lumphini CBD of Bangkok. The hotel is directly connected to the All Seasons Place mall and is just a few blocks away from Central Embassy shopping mall. Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is located some 25km north of the hotel while Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is located some 30km east of the hotel.
- International Flights - Bangkok has two of the busiest airports in Asia if not the world. Several full service and low cost carriers have daily flights to Bangkok coming from key cities in Asia, Middle East, Australia, Europe and North America.
- Airport Transfer - My preferred way to get to the city from either airports (DMK or BKK) is to book a GrabCar using the Grab app. Fare is fixed plus toll fees of THB120.00. Grab fare from DMK or BKK airports to the hotel is around THB320.00 to THB350.00 depending on the time of the day.
- Moving Around - For long distance trips within Bangkok, I suggest that you take the Sky Train. It will save you more time in this city known for its traffic jams. For shorter distances, I recommend taking a GrabCar instead.
