Holiday Inn & Suites Makati is currently offering a 4th-of-July-themed weekend buffet at its Flavors Restaurant. Available on all weekends of July, the Southern Comfort weekend buffet will be featuring some of the classic creole dishes from Southern United States.
In addition to the local and international dishes of the buffet, each food station will also have several featured Southern Comfort dishes. Just look for the food labels with the American flag.
During our visit, some of the dishes we tried were the Jambalaya, Southern Shrimp and Grits, Tangy Beef Garlic Steak, Louisiana Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Pork Cutlet with Fennel and Vegetables, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and Sauteed Asparagus with Croutons. Selection of dishes may vary every day.
The dessert station will also have featured Southern Comfort cakes. Holiday Inn & Suites Makati is very well known for its award winning desserts, and some of the featured cakes which you shouldn't miss are the Humming Bird Cake and the Pecan Pie. Pair these with coffee and you will be in dessert heaven.
If you dine frequently at Flavors Restaurant, you will notice that the interiors are now brighter and feels more airy. The restaurant is also conveniently accessible now from Glorietta Mall.
