The Deluxe Room is the lead-in guestroom category of Hilton Kuala Lumpur. It has a total floor space of 38 square meters and is available in king-bed and twin-bed configurations. The Deluxe Rooms are located on the lower floors of the hotel and offer a view over the Kuala Lumpur Sentral development.
The Deluxe Room is furnished with a chaise lounge sofa placed next to the glass window. It is ideal for reading a book or magazine, especially during the daytime when there is plenty of natural light. The minibar is conveniently located next to the sofa. Complimentary bottled water, instant coffee, and Dilmah tea bags.
The room is equipped with a 50-inch HD television with local and international channels. A work desk with a swivel chair is placed next to the television. This allows guests to connect their laptops and other multimedia devices to the HD television. Alternatively, the work desk can also be utilized as dining table.
Wifi internet connection is available inside the room and in public areas. Foreign guests staying at Hilton Kuala Lumpur need not bring an adapter because the room is fitted universal power outlets, including desk-level outlets conveniently located next to the bed.
The room is effectively insulated from the warm and humid climate of Kuala Lumpur. The air-conditioning kept the in-room temperature within the comfortable range of 20-22°C. Combined with the signature Hilton Serenity Bed, guests are ensured to have a restful sleep.
The bathroom is accessible from the room's foyer and from a bedside sliding door. It is fitted with a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower with handheld and rainfall showerhead. There is a single basin with a spacious granite countertop. The toilet is located behind the vanity.
Guests staying here at Hilton Kuala Lumpur are provided with the Verbena and Lavander de Provence body and bath amenities by Crabtree & Evelyn. The complete set includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and bath soap.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this Deluxe Room at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. It is spacious enough for two persons to comfortably move around. The room was renovated back in 2016 and it still looked fresh and well maintained during my stay.
