Swissôtel Nankai Osaka is located some 45km from Kansai International Airport (KIX) the main international hub of Osaka, Japan. Standing right on top of Namba Station, Swissôtel Nankai Osaka is centrally located in the city right next to the shopping and dining districts. Most attractions of the city are just a short subway ride away. Express trains to Kyoto, Kobe and Nara are also very accessible from the hotel.
- Airport Transfer - The most convenient and affordable way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taking the Nankai Airport Express train from Kansai International Airport to Namba Station. Travel time is around 45 minutes and the ticket is priced at JPY930. The hotel entrance is accessible from the north gate of Namba Station. To go back to the airport, you can also take the Nankai Airport Express from Namba Station.
- Moving Around - The most common way to get around Osaka is by taking the Osaka Metro subway. Taxis are very expensive in Osaka and it will only make sense to take a taxi if you are traveling as a group of at least three persons.
- Train to Kyoto - It is possible to visit Kyoto in a day trip from Osaka. From Namba Station, take the Midosuji Line to Yodoyabashi Station (JPY180). From Yodoyabashi Station, transfer to the Keihan Line and take the Keihan Limited Express Train to Sanjo Station in Kyoto (JPY410). The total travel time is about 65 minutes.
