Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park is a five-star hotel located along Sukhumvit Soi 22 in the Khlong Toei district of central Bangkok, Thailand. The property underwent an extensive renovation and reopened in December 2016 as Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park. It is the first Marriott property in the Asia-Pacific region to receive the Marquis brand designation.
Being a Marquis-designated property, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park caters primarily to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism market. With more than 1,000 guestrooms and suites, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park can easily accommodate groups of various sizes.
Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park also caters to business travelers and leisure travelers and the hotel has made their check-in procedure very well organized that participants in MICE events have dedicated check-in desks. This system allows independent travelers to have a seamless check-in experience.
Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park has a total of 1,360 well-appointed guestrooms and suites which are housed in two towers. Participants of MICE events are usually grouped together in one tower while independent travelers are housed in another tower. ► LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park is centrally located along Sukhumvit Road (Soi 22) and is surrounded by public parks, high-end malls, restaurants, offices, and entertainment establishments. Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park is about 42km away from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and 35km from Don Muaeng International Airport (DMK).
Airport Transfer
- My most recommended way to get to the hotel from the BKK or BMK airport is by using the GRAB ride-hailing application. GrabCar fare ranges from THB400.00 to THB450.00 (inclusive of tolls).
- Taxi is another option to get to the hotel from the airport. The estimated fare is THB400.00 from DMK airport and THB600.00 from BKK airport.
- A more premium option is the AOT Airport Limousine service which will cost you around THB1,200.00 per way. Prior reservation is required.
- The most convenient way is to book the Hotel Limo Service which is available upon reservation and will cost THB2,500.00 per way.
Getting Around
- GRAB is the most recommended way to go around the city. GRAB is also the locals' preferred mode of transportation because it is more reliable can be cheaper than a taxi.
- For long distances around Bangkok, you can try the BTS Skytrain and the MRT Underground. The nearest station to the hotel is the Phrom Phong BTS Station
