The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is a five-star hotel located in the KL Sentral transport hub of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur opened in May 2016 as Malaysia's second St. Regis-branded property. Its Malaysian sister property, The St. Regis Langkawi, opened in April 2016. The St. Regis is one of the luxury hotel brands of Marriott International.
Tracing its heritage from The St. Regis New York, the interior of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is filled with elements of old-world American elegant design, such as the horsehair leather panels at the lobby depicting a polo match, as well as the leather chairs with saddle stitch.
The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur features some of the most spacious and elegantly furnished guestrooms and suites in the city. The guestrooms start at 63 square meters while the specialty suites range from 138 to 353 square meters. I enjoyed my brief stay at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. I loved my room, especially the bed. The breakfast was also excellent. It was my first St. Regis hotel stay experience and I have to say that I am quite satisfied with my experience. This will surely be not the last.
► THE ST. REGIS KUALA LUMPUR: LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur forms part of the KL Sentral complex which is the central transport hub of Kuala Lumpur connecting the city's sky train network, bus network and the KLIA Ekspres. The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur is located some 60km away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Airport Transfer
- The most convenient way to get to the hotel from the airport is by booking the hotel's shuttle service. This is available upon request and will cost MYR349 per way.
- The fastest and most affordable way to get to the hotel from the airport is via the KLIA Expres train. Travel time is less than 30 minutes and costs around MYR55.00 per way. From KL Sentral arrival area, you can take the hotel's free shuttle.
Moving Around
- The most efficient and convenient way to travel around Kuala Lumpur is by using the GRAB ride hailing application. This is similar to Uber and very easy to use. Most GRAB drivers in Kuala Lumpur are super nice and they speak very good English.
