Elite Member Benefit: Room Upgrade
Per Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program Terms & Condition, the Complimentary Enhanced Room Upgrade for Elite Gold, Elite Platinum, and above, is not available in Aloft properties. However, some guests do claim that their rooms were upgraded during their stay at Aloft Guangzhou Tianhe. I believe these were upgrades at the sole discretion of the hotel and should be treated as isolated cases.

A billiards table is also available for guests to keep themselves entertained while waiting for their room.

- Breakfast Buffet at Sesamee Tree - Sesamee Tree is the main breakfast venue of Aloft Guangzhou Tianhe. Guests who booked breakfast-inclusive room rates, as well as Platinum Elite members availing their complimentary breakfast benefit, can enjoy the buffet breakfast at this restaurant between 6:30am to 10:00am daily. Walk-in guests are also welcome to dine.
- Grab-and-Go Breakfast at Re:fuel - Guests who are on the go and are looking for a quick breakfast can purchase grab-and-go sandwiches, instant cup noodles, coffee and tea at Re:fuel which is conveniently located next to the reception desk.
Guests staying at Aloft Guangzhou Tianhe enjoy complimentary access to Re:charge, the hotel's 24-hour fitness center. It can be accessed using your electronic keycard. Although it is quite small for a hotel with almost 500 rooms, it's not very busy even during the peak hours in the morning. Please note that Aloft Guangzhou Tianhe does not have an onsite swimming pool.

Airport Transfers
- The most convenient way to get to the hotel from Guangzhou Airport is to take a Taxi from the arrival area. The fare will range between CNY150.00 to CNY200.00 and travel time is 30-45mins.
- A more affordable way to get to the hotel is to take the Guangzhou Metro - Line 3 from the airport. Fare is only CNY7.00 and travel time is around 45 minutes.
- Take Line 3 from the airport: Airport North Station (Terminal 2) or Airport South Station (Terminal 1)
- Get off at Linhexi (Linhe West) Station and take Exit D.
- Walk 500 meters to the hotel.
- Guangzhou Metro is a commuter subway line so expect it to be crowded during the rush hours. It operates from 6:00am to 11:00pm only.
- Aloft Guangzhou Tianhe does not provide limousine service.

Railway Transfers
- From Guangzhou East Railway Station, guests can take a Taxi at the arrival area. Taxi fare is around CNY15.00.
- From Guangzhou South Railway Station, guests can take a Taxi at the arrival area. Taxi fare is between CNY100 to CNY120.
- From Guangzhou South Railway Station, guests can also take the Guangzhou Metro. Fare is CNY6.00.
- Take Line 2 at the Guangzhou South Railway Station
- Transfer to Line 6 at Haizhu Square Station and take the train bound for Xiangxue Station
- Transfer to Line 3 at Yantang Station and take the train bound for Tiyuxi Lu (Tiyu West Road) Station
- Get off at Linhexi (Linhe West) Station and take Exit D.
- Walk 500 meters to the hotel.
Moving Around
- For shorter distances, I recommend taking a Taxi. For destinations within Tianhe District, taxi fare will range between CNY15.00 to CNY30.00.
- For longer distances, I recommend taking the Guangzhou Metro. Fare ranges from CNY2.00 to CNY15.00 depending on the distance. You can check the exact fare here.
