► TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION: FAIRMONT MAKATI
Fairmont Makati is located just 7km from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) the main gateway to Manila. The hotel is centrally located in the Makati Central Business District, the main financial hub of Manila. The Bonifacio Global City BGC is just 4km away, while the Ortigas Center CBD is 6.5km away.
Airport Transfer
- The most convenient way to get to the hotel is by using the hotel's Limousine Service. A dedicated Fairmont Airport Representative will welcome you at the arrival area. Rates start from PHP3,300 per way. Limousine service must be book at least one day prior to arrival in Manila. You can book by sending an email to concierge.makati@fairmont.com.
- Another option is to book a GrabCar using the Grab mobile application. Grab is similar to Uber and is the most widely-used ride-hailing application in Southeast Asia. Fares are fixed from the time of booking. There is also a Grab booth at the airport's arrival area and they can book a GrabCar for you at no extra cost. Fare ranges from PHP250 to PHP350.
- To avoid unwanted hassles, I personally don't recommend taxing a metered taxi (white taxi) or even the airport taxi (yellow taxi).
Moving Around
- If your company does not provide transportation during your stay, I recommend using the Grab ride-hailing application. The hotel's concierge can help you in making sure that you choose the correct drop-off point.
Parking
- You can avail of the complimentary parking space for the whole duration of your stay. One (1) complimentary parking space is provided for every one (1) room booked.
