Guests with a confirmed reservation in an Executive Room or a suite will be assisted to the Premier Lounge, located on the 24th floor of the hotel, for their private check-in. As soon as you are seated, you will be served with a drink of your choice which you can enjoy while the lounge agents process your check-in.

► SEMI-BUFFET BREAKFAST AT THE PREMIER LOUNGE
The semi-buffet breakfast at the Premier Lounge of Novotel Manila Araneta City consists of a buffet spread of continental items as well as selected hot dishes. Regular items include French pastries, muffins, freshly baked bread, cold cuts, and cheeses. Classic Filipino breakfast dishes are also served on the buffet.
In addition to the buffet spread, there is also a Breakfast a la Carte menu from which guests can order unlimited servings of egg dishes.

Whenever I dine at the Premier Lounge for breakfast, I always make sure that I order from the breakfast a la carte menu, especially dishes that are not available at the buffet restaurant. One of my favorite egg dishes here at the Premier Lounge is their Eggs Benedict.
Novotel Manila Araneta City consistently serves top-quality French pastries and not be missed here at the Premier Lounge are the Fruit Danish. The pastry itself is soft and flakey while the fruit topping is not too sweet.
If you prefer a Western-style breakfast, you should definitely order the English Breakfast from the a la carte menu. For a local breakfast experience, you should try the Filipino dishes served at the buffet.
The continental breakfast spread also includes lighter options. There are four varieties of cereals with options of full cream milk, skim milk, and soy milk. There's also yogurt and muesli. Pre-mixed salads and fresh fruits are also available.
In addition to free-flowing black coffee, cappuccino, latte, and tea, chilled fruit juices are also available during breakfast. As soon as you are seated, the lounge staff will offer to serve you coffee or tea.
► AFTERNOON TEA AT THE PREMIER LOUNGE
In keeping with the French heritage of the Novotel brand, French cakes are served here at the Premier Lounge during afternoon tea. Western and Filipino sandwiches and pastries are also included in the selection.
Some of the French cakes I love to pair with cappuccino are Madelaine, Chocolate Madelaine, Almond Financier, and Opera cake. For a local merienda experience, you should definitely try the Filipino rice cakes.
Savory sandwiches and snacks are also available during afternoon tea. I particularly loved the Montecristo sandwiches and deviled eggs I had during my latest stay at Novotel Manila Araneta City.
► EVENING COCKTAILS AT THE PREMIER LOUNGE
The Premier Lounge at Novotel Manila Araneta City serves an extensive spread of canapes during happy hour. This is quite impressive for a midscale hotel brand such as Novotel. Guests can choose among Filipino, Italian, French and American bite-size dishes.
Some of items served during my visit were Beef Salpicao (Filipino), Spaghetti Bolognese, Quiche Lorraine, Potato Croquettes, Pita Bread, Moutabel, Egg Sandwich, Liver Pate, Shrimp Cocktail, Dinakdakan (Filipino), and assorted French cakes.
As for the drinks, they serve white wine (Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc), red wine (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon), local beer, as well as spirits (Fundador Brandy, Jose Cuervo Blue Agave Reposado Tequila, Tanduay White Rum, Beefeater London Dry Gin, Smirnoff Vodka, Johnnie Walker Black Label Whiskey, Jim Bean Whiskey, J&B Scotch Whiskey).
Guests are welcome to make their own cocktails but a bartender from the hotel's poolside bar is stationed at the Premier Lounge and can expertly make cocktails for the guests. Guests can also order canned soda, chilled fruit juices, coffee, and tea.
Here is my first round of drink, mixing Jim Bean Whiskey and Coke Lite. I paired it with Spaghetti Bolognese, Pita Bread, Beef Salpicao, and Potato Croquettes.
My next round of drink is Mojito which I paired with a second round of Spaghetti Bolognese (you guessed it right, I love pasta), plus egg sandwich and butter-garlic toast. It's quite easy to over-eat, honestly.
