Conrad Osaka is a five-star luxury hotel located on Nakanoshima and surrounded by corporate and government offices, museums, and shopping centers. It is also in close proximity to the Osaka-Umeda business and commercial district. Conrad Osaka is easily accessible via the Osaka Metro subway system.
Conrad Osaka occupies the top floors of the Nakanoshima Festival West Tower. Arriving guests would take the elevator that would bring them to the sky lobby on the 40th floor. Standing guard at the entrance of the reception are contemporary sculptures of the Shinto deities Fujin (god of wind) and Raijin (god of thunder).
The official check-in time is at 3:00pm. The check-in process was quick and effortless. There are three reception desks that can accommodate arriving and departing guests, even at the busiest hours. There is a seating area where guests can comfortably lounge while waiting.

Conrad Osaka is located in central Osaka, approximately 50km from Kansai International Airport (KIX) the main international hub of Osaka, Japan. The hotel is also a few blocks away from Yodoyabashi Station of the Keihan Line, a railway line connecting Osaka to Kyoto.
Airport Transfer (Kansai International Airport)
- The most convenient and affordable way to get from the airport to the hotel is by taking the Nankai Airport Express train from Kansai International Airport to Namba Station. Travel time is around 45 minutes and the ticket is priced at JPY930.
- From Namba Station, take the Yotsubashi Line (Line 3) towards Nishi-Umeda Station. Get off at Higobashi Station and take Exit 4.
Moving Around
- The most common way to get around Osaka is by taking the Osaka Metro subway. Taxis are very expensive in Osaka and it will only make sense to take a taxi if you are traveling as a group of at least three persons.
Train to Kyoto
- The hotel is just a few blocks away from Yodoyabashi Station where you can take the Keihan Limited Express Train (Keihan Line) to Sanjo Station in Kyoto (JPY410). The total travel time is about 65 minutes.
