► FEATURED DISHES BY SCOTT'S RESTAURANT
Tapas Board | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Tapas Board - A set of Spanish tapas served on a board, including Jamon Serrano shavings, spiced warm olives, potato croquettes, grilled pan con tomate (grilled bread with tomato), and champiñones al ajillo (garlic fried mushrooms). I personally enjoyed the pan con tomate topped with Jamon Serrano. This set is good for two to three persons.
Scott's House Salad | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Scott's House Salad - A beautiful blend of natural sweetness from the roasted pumpkin, carrots, and grapes, refreshing juiciness from tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce, light earthiness from beets and baby arugula, saltiness from the candied walnuts and crumbled feta cheese, and tartness from the orange segments and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. This salad is good for one to two persons.
Tomato & Fried Mozzarella Soup | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Tomato & Fried Mozzarella Soup - A comforting bowl of warm tomato soup with the aromatic flavors of roasted garlic, onion, and thyme, and finally topped with fried mozzarella balls. The naturally sweet and slightly tart taste of the soup will surely whet your appetite.
Surf & Turf Quesadilla | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Surf & Turf Quesadilla - This Mexican classic dish is given a surf and turf version by filling it with tender chunks of chipotle-rubbed USDA beef and Cajun-spiced shrimps. Caramelized onions and corn add contrasting texture and naturally sweet flavor to the filling. The parmesan-crusted flour tortilla has a crunchy texture and smokey flavor while the cilantro crema topping gives a Mexican punch to the dish. This dish is good for one person, or shared by three persons if served with other dishes.
Prawn Laksa | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Prawn Laksa - This dish pays homage to the Singaporean heritage of the Ascott brand. This Prawn Laksa is inspired by Singapore's Katong Laksa which is known for its rich and creamy coconut curry broth with a well-balanced combination of sweetness, saltiness, and spiciness, and highlighted by the rich umami taste from prawns. Thick egg noodles are then added to the broth, topped with fried tofu, bok choy, crunchy bean sprouts, and finally crowned with plump prawns. This dish is good for one person, or shared by two persons if ordered with another dish.
Lechon Kawali | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Lechon Kawali - A Western version of a Filipino classic. Pork belly confit is fried until crispy and the skin is given a torched caramel crust. It is then served on a bed of daikon radish puree, with roasted squash and blistered cherry tomatoes on the side. The Pommery mustard-liver sauce completes the dish. This dish is good for one person, or shared by two persons when ordered with another dish.
Buttered Chicken | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Buttered Chicken - The chicken is marinated in a mixture of yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, fresh ginger, garlic, and chili. The chicken is then cooked in a mild tomato and onion based curry sauce and butter. This classic Indian dish is served in a three-tier tiffin together with yellow basmati rice and roti prata. This dish is good for one person, or for two persons when ordered with another dish.
Strawberry Shortcake | Scott's at Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila |
Strawberry Shortcake - This is so far my favorite strawberry shortcake in Manila. The sponge cake is light and moist while the fresh strawberry has a naturally sweet and tart taste. The shortcake is then topped with whipped cream, fresh blueberries, strawberry meringue, and slices of fresh strawberry. The Strawberry Shortcake is available as a mini-cake and as a whole cake.
