Hilton Manila reopened in November 2020 as a Staycation Hotel authorized by the Department of Tourism to operate while Metro Manila is under General Community Quarantine. This article serves as your guide to a seamless new normal staycation experience at Hilton Manila.
Room Reservation
To ensure that you get the lowest available rate, we recommend that you book your room via the official website of Hilton Manila. Room rate starts at ₱7,099.57 net for a Guest Room that includes breakfast buffet for up to two persons. Standard Room Reward redemption starts at 26,000 Hilton Honors points. Please note that rates are subject to change.
Pre-Arrival Reminders
- The government only allows residents of Metro Manila and CALABARZON to go on a staycation at any authorized Staycation Hotels in Metro Manila.
- Guests of all ages are allowed to go on staycation except guests who are pregnant or with comorbidities.
- Guests sharing the same room must also be from the same household. Proof of residence such as government-issued or company ID with residence address must be presented upon check-in. For IDs without residence address, each guest can secure a Barangay Residence Certificate as supporting document.
- All guests are required to submit a Tourism Health Declaration Form upon arrival. For a seamless arrival experience, you can submit your declaration form online (click here) while in transit to the hotel. Just make sure to take a screenshot of the confirmation page and present it to the receptionist upon arrival.
- All staycation guests are required to present a negative Rapid Antigen Test result issued on the same day of check-in. For your convenience, there is a testing clinic in Resorts World Manila, just across Hilton Manila. The concierge at the hotel's ground floor can assist you to the testing clinic. After you have been swabbed, you can already proceed to the hotel's waiting lounge. The test results will be sent directly to the hotel's front desk team. Once available, you will be assisted to the front desk for your check-in. This whole process will take one to two hours so I recommend that you arrive as early as 10:00am so you will be done by noontime. I paid ₱1,500 for my Rapid Antigen Test.
- If you will be bringing your car, please note that Valet Parking service is temporarily not available.
Check-In & Check-Out Process
- Safe physical distancing must be observed in the reception area. Floor markers are installed for your guidance.
- Partitions are installed at the check-in desk. Guests are and front desk associates are required to wear a face mask and a face shield. Hand sanitizer and sanitized pens are also provided next to the check-in desk.
- There is a dedicated check-in desk for Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond members.
- Guests are encouraged to use cashless payment options. In addition to credit cards and debit cards, Hilton Manila also accepts GCash.
- Instead of a printed receipt, you can just request a digital copy to be emailed to you.

Hilton CleanStay Program
- The Hilton CleanStay Room Seal over your door means that your room has not been accessed by anyone since it had been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. In line with the Hilton CleanStay program, rooms and suites are fully cleaned including vacuuming the carpet, mopping floors, and wiping down all surfaces with hospital-grade cleaners.
- All switches and electronic controls, handles and knobs, major bathroom surfaces, and the remote controls are then disinfected using products from Lysol, Dettol, Sagrotan, or Napisan. The room is then made up with freshly laundered towels and linens.
- In addition, sanitation kits are also provided to each guest. The kit includes a hand sanitizer, an all-purpose disinfectant spray, alcohol wet wipes, and two pieces of face masks. Electronic keycards will still be issued upon check-in, but you are highly encouraged to use the Digital Key available on your Hilton Honors app. It works both on your door and elevators.

We stayed in a One-Bedroom Deluxe Suite during our staycation last November. Here are some of our observations:
- Sanitation kits are provided to each guest. The kit includes a hand sanitizer, an all-purpose disinfectant spray, alcohol wet wipes, and two pieces of face masks.
- The minibar is kept empty but you can order a minibar package during their stay.
- Housekeeping service will be available only upon request. This is to minimize the contact and cross-contamination between the guests and the hotel staff.
- Should you order in-room dining, the trolley will still be delivered to your room but the hotel staff is prohibited to enter.
Executive Lounge Benefits at Port Bar
Unfortunately, the Executive Lounge will remain closed while Metro Manila is placed under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). In the meantime, guests with executive lounge access (those who booked an executive room or a suite, as well as Hilton Honors Diamond members) can enjoy some of their executive lounge benefits at Port Bar (located on Level 3). We dined at Hua Yuan Chinese Restaurant during our staycation and below are some of the safety protocols you need to keep in mind:
- Guests are required to wear a facemask and face shield when entering the restaurants.
- Safe physical distancing is strictly implemented. Face-to-face dining is not allowed, even among family members. Some tables are installed with plexiglass partitions.
- Dining utensils are provided in sealed packaging to prevent contamination.
- The dining staff is required to wear a facemask, face shield, and gloves. Dishes are covered with a cloche when being served to guests.

Breakfast Buffet
Guests who booked a breakfast-inclusive room rate can enjoy their breakfast at Kusina Sea Kitchens. The breakfast buffet is available from 7:00am to 10:00am daily, with two choices of seating schedule:
- First Seating: 7:00am to 8:30am
- Second Seating: 8:30am to 10:00pm

Vega Outdoor Swimming Pool
Yes, the famous Vega Outdoor Swimming Pool is now open. All guests are welcome to use the pool anytime between 8:00am to 8:00pm. No prior reservation is required. Sun loungers are now well-spaced to ensure safe physical distancing. Guests are also expected to observe social distancing while in the pool. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure health and safety protocols are observed.
