Senju 千寿 is the premier Japanese restaurant of Edsa Shangri-La, Manila. Senju serves traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine and it specializes in sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, and kaiseki. Senju is one of the very few Japanese fine dining restaurants in Metro Manila headed by a Japanese chef.

Dining Venues
Senju has a contemporary Japanese interior design utilizing dark timber, warm lighting, accent chairs, and art pieces. The dark yet warm theme of the main dining area creates an intimate and romantic setting for the guests. There are tables that can seat groups of three to four persons while the booths are perfect for couples.
Senju has four private dining rooms named after the four seasons. The seating capacity of the private dining rooms are currently reduced in compliance with the safety protocols set by the government. The private dining rooms are available at a minimum consumable fee and prior reservation is recommended.

The restaurant also has two teppanyaki tables and a sushi bar which are currently closed due to seating capacity restriction set by the government
Senju Bento Set
Senju Bento Set is the signature bento set of Senju. It comes with appetizers, two kinds of sashimi, California maki, gindara teriyaki, assorted tempura, beef teppanyaki, gohan, miso soup, and dessert (assorted fruits or ice cream).
From the A La Carte Menu
Wakadori Karaage - Traditional Japanese fried chicken with a crispy crust and juicy meat. The dish is served with shredded cabbage salad on the side and can be shared by two to three persons. This dish is best paired with gohan (Japanese steamed rice).
Unagi Jyu - Japanese fresh water eel (unagi) are filleted and sliced, and then grilled with kabayaki sauce glazing. The grilled unagi are then served on a bed of gohan (Japanese steamed rice).
Yakiniku Jyu - US beef slices are grilled and then served on a bed of gohan (Japanese steamed rice). The glazing has a mild and well-balanced saltiness and sweetness that enhances the umami of the beef.
