Newly Renovated Suite with Club Lounge Access and Benefits
The Grand Club Suite is one of the newly renovated suites of Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. This corner suite measures around 78 square meters and features a living room, a separate bedroom, a half bath, and a full bath. Guests staying in a Grand Club Suite enjoy Club Lounge access and benefits.
I stayed at room 1913 which is located on the Club Floor (19th floor). Entering the suite, you will be welcomed by the generously spacious living area. I like how the natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows make the area feel very airy.
The sofa and the couch are well positioned on the same side of the living room, creating an unobstructed flow within the space. I particularly love the updated color theme of the room with beige walls and grey curtains giving a neutral and clean backdrop with accents of plum, the brand color of Crowne Plaza.
I was told that I was the first guest to stay in the hotel's newly renovated Grand Club Suite, and I was provided with an equally grand welcome amenity consisting of a platter of assorted charcuterie and premium cheeses, a small bottle of red wine, plus a handwritten welcome letter from the General Manager.
The living room is equipped with a 42 inch LED TV with local and international channels. The work desk is also located in the living room where I spent most of my time during my three-day essential business stay. The table was quite spacious and the ergonomic chair was comfortable even after hours of continuous work.
Complimentary wifi internet connection is available inside the suite. The internet speed is fast enough to support video calls via MS Teams and Zoom. The minibar is conveniently located behind the work desk. Complimentary TWG teabags, as well as instant coffee, are provided.
For safety and convenience, I decided to just order room service for the whole duration of my stay. The work desk served as my dining table. For couples and families, the center table can be moved to the side so that the room service trolley can be placed in front of the sofa.
There is a half bath located next to the entrance door and is easily accessible from the living room. The half bath is fitted with a sink and a toilet with a bidet. The half bath adds convenience when you are staying with your family.
A corridor connects the living room to the bedroom. The closet cabinet is located inside the bedroom and it has generous storage space for folded and hanged clothes for a week-long stay. Laundry bags are also provided.
The closet cabinet also houses an iron and ironing board, bathrobes, room slippers, as well as an electronic safe which can fit an average size laptop. You can also store your luggage here. Alternatively, you can use the foldable luggage rack.
The bedroom is equipped with a 49-inch Full HD Smart TV with local and international channels and is also installed with Youtube and Netflix. If you have a Nintendo Switch, you can connect it to the Smart TV via HDMI.
Another upgraded feature of the suite is the JBL Horizon Bluetooth Clock Radio which you can connect to your phone to listen to your Spotify playlist. Desk-level power and USB outlets are also available next to the bed.
Similar to my stay at Crowne Plaza Vientiane, I also had an excellent sleep experience here at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. Thanks to the premium bedding and plush pillows. The whole suite was well airconditioned with the temperature consistently maintained with the comfortable range of 18°C-22°C.
My favorite spot in the bedroom is the seating area beside the window. From here, you can enjoy a relaxing view of the city, especially during sunset. During my stay, I took a 30-minute break from work each day and spent the time relaxing here while drinking coffee. Leaning back on the couch and stretching your legs on the ottoman recharges your body.
Located between the bedroom and the living area is the ensuite bathroom. I was super impressed by the renovation done in the bathroom. The design is very contemporary and the space looks sleek and very fresh.
The bathroom is very spacious and features a vanity with a double-wide mirror and generous countertop, an alcove bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a toilet fitted with a bidet. New bath towels were also provided.
The walk-in shower is equally spacious and is fitted with a handheld showerhead. Water pressure was consistently strong during my stay. Guests staying in a Grand Club Suite are provided with body and bath amenities by This Works, a UK-based skincare specialist.
The complete set includes the Energy Bank line of products, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, and hand soap. I particularly love the aromatherapeutic scent of these products which makes me very excited to take a shower every morning.
The newly renovated Grand Club Suite of Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria is easily one of my favorite hotel suites in Metro Manila either for staycations or business stays. I love the generous floor space and the spectacular view from the bedroom. Overall, I absolutely enjoyed my three-day business stay in this Grand Club Suite.

I had another overnight stay in this Grand Club Suite, the exact same room 1913. I am on business stay and spent most of my time working inside the room. I also had a very comfortable sleep, just like in my previous stay.
ReplyDeleteThe Club Lounge is now back in operations and I was able to avail the afternoon tea and evening cocktails benefits.
I had dinner at The Courtyard alfresco dining. I recommend the Cajun Spiced Prawns! I also had lunch at Seven Corners. The Ribeye Steak was excellent, and so were the Japanese items and the pesto.
I still had the option to have in-room breakfast, but this time, I decided to have my breakfast at Seven Corners Restaurant. I had the Filipino breakfast set with daing na bangus.
Overall, it was another excellent stay. I will certainly be back here at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. Thanks again to Ms. Regina and Josef for being great hosts during my stay.
