Club Rooms with Sheraton Club Lounge Access and Benefits
The Club Deluxe Room is the only club room category of Sheraton Manila Hotel. The Club Deluxe Room measures 44 square meters and is available in one king bed and two queen beds configuration. Guests who booked a Club Deluxe Room enjoy Sheraton Club Lounge access and benefits during their stay.
The Club Deluxe Room is in line with the new design concept of the Sheraton brand that balances a sense of timelessness with a fresh and modern feel. The Club Deluxe Room has a warm and residential appeal comprised of soft finishes and light wood tones accentuated with black metal accents.
Aside from the bed configuration, guests can also choose between a Club Deluxe Room with a view of the airport or one with a view of the swimming pool. During my recent stay, I was assigned to room 1028 which is facing the swimming pool.
There is a wall-mounted work desk that is fairly wide to fit a laptop and other work-related stuff. However, the desk is not deep enough to support your elbows and forearms while using a laptop, so I don't recommend it for extended use. Desk-level power outlets with universal sockets are found next to the desk lamp.
The Club Deluxe Room is equipped with a 55-inch Smart HDTV with local and international channels. You can connect your laptop or mobile devices to the TV using an HDMI cable or wirelessly via screen mirroring.
There's high-speed internet available inside the room that can support Netflix or Youtube videos played in HD quality. If you are here for work, making video conference calls via MS Teams or Zoom shouldn't be a problem.
Bedside control panels allow you to control the lights individually or conveniently switch among pre-set lighting moods. Power outlets with USB charging ports are also within arm's reach from the bed. The JBL Horizon Bluetooth Clock Radio is also one of my favorite features of the room.
The seating area is furnished with a two-seater sofa and a round table. While the table was primarily intended for in-room dining, it also functions well as a work table. I was working from hotel during this stay and I actually preferred to work here with my laptop as it has more depth to support my arms and elbows.
The minibar cabinet houses a mini-refrigerator which is currently not stocked with drinks, in line with local health and safety protocols. You will also find an electric kettle to heat water for coffee and tea (no Nespresso machine, unfortunately).
Guests staying at Sheraton Manila Hotel are provided with premium teabags by Dilmah as well as drip coffee with locally sourced ground arabica coffee beans. Complimentary bottled water is also provided and replenished daily.
The closet cabinet is spacious enough to store clothes for a week-long stay. You will also find here the essential iron and ironing board if you are in Manila for business travel. The in-room safe is also placed inside the closet cabinet.
The bathroom is equally spacious and the design has the same vibe as the bedroom. There is a single vanity with a granite countertop. I particularly love the industrial feel of the mirror. Adjacent is a wall-mounted toilet fitted with a bidet seat.
The walk-in shower is fitted with a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Water pressure was consistently strong here at Sheraton Manila Hotel. Towels and bathrobes are provided.
Le Grand Bain body and bath amenities are exclusively provided to guests staying at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. The complete set includes a bath bar, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The Le Grand Bain amenities are designed by Ben Gorham of Byredo, a luxury fragrance house based in Stockholm, Sweden.
As always, the highlight of every Sheraton stay is the Sheraton Signature Bed. The bed has the right firmness that provides even support to the body while the plush topper adds comfort. The air-conditioning worked perfectly with the in-room temperature maintained within the 20-22°C range.
Since we already tried the continental breakfast at the Sheraton Club Lounge during our previous stay, we opted to order in-room breakfast during this stay. Our orders were delivered in 30 minutes. We dined next to the window where we could enjoy the morning sun. The menu features breakfast sets and a la carte items.
The Runway Manila Breakfast Set includes garlic fried rice, two eggs (cooked your way), choice of bread, and choice of meat (beef tapa, pork tocino, daing na bangus, chicken adobo, or pork adobo). We selected pork adobo. The set also includes a choice of juice and a choice of hot beverage.
The All American Breakfast Set is served with hash brown, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, two eggs (cooked your way), choice of bread, and choice of meat (bacon, meat loaf, chicken sausage, or pork sausage). We chose pork sausage. The set also includes fresh fruits, choice of juice, and choice of hot beverage.
