The Executive Deluxe Room is one of the two lead-in guestroom categories of Seda BGC, this being the newer one located in the expansion Tower 2. The Executive Deluxe Room measures 30 square meters and is available in a king bed and twin beds configuration.
The room features a Hygge-style interior with a warm white wall finish, maple flooring, and oak furnishing matched with grey upholstery and black accent lines. The room is also bathed with plenty of natural light. The overall vibe is contemporary, cozy, and very homey.
I was assigned to room 1530, a west-facing room with an unobstructed view of the BGC central business district. The sunset also gives this room a more desirable view. If you want this view, do request a room number ending in -26 to -35.
Desk-level power outlets are conveniently located on both sides of the bed and can support types A, B, and C/E/F plugs. The room is equipped with a 40 inch LED HDTV with local and international cable channels. You can also connect your smartphone or portable gaming console to the TV via HDMI cable.
The room is furnished with a multi-purpose table with an ergonomic chair and a two-seater sofa. The table can serve as a workstation or as a dining table, allowing for seamless transition. Desk-level power outlets are also available next to the table. Guests enjoy complimentary wifi internet in the room and in public areas.
It is worth mentioning that Seda BGC is one of the very few hotels in Metro Manila that still provides welcome amenities to its guests. It's a simple yet very much appreciated gesture of hospitality that makes the stay very memorable.
The highlight of a Seda BGC staycation is the bed. The hotel uses top of the line mattress that has a well-balanced firmness and softness. The bed evenly supports the weight while it adjusts well to the contours of the body. A fine bedsheet is coupled with plush pillows, ensuring a comfortable sleep experience.
The closet cabinet is located at the entrance next to the door. It has enough space to hang clothes for a week-long stay. Additional storage space is available for folded clothes. The cabinet also houses the in-room safe.
Complimentary bottled water, as well as instant coffee sachets, are provided. There is an electric kettle to heat water. You can also store the bottled water in the mini-refrigerator if you prefer cold drinking water. Teabags are not provided. If you prefer gourmet coffee, you can order one from the in-room dining menu.
The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower with a hand-held showerhead. There's a single vanity with a marble countertop. The toilet is not fitted with a bidet sprayer, unfortunately.
Bath amenities are provided by SASY n SAVY, an Australia-based producer of skincare products. In addition to toiletries, guests are also provided with dental kits and vanity kits.
The room air-conditioning worked perfectly in keeping the indoor temperature within the comfortable range of 20°C-24°C. The room also has excellent thermal insulation that kept the room cool even during noontime.
