1. Hot Prawn Salad
This all-time favorite dish is made extra premium by using generously large prawns which were batter-fried until golden, and finally coated with mango yogurt dressing. I love the well-balanced sweetness and tartness of the dressing. This is a must-try!
2. Oven-Roasted Peking Duck
This is one of the signature dishes of Xin Tian Di's Chef Peter Yeung. Perfect for family-style dining, the Peking duck is served two ways. The Oven Roasted Peking Duck is good for six to eight persons. Half order of the Peking duck is also available and is good for three to four persons.
3. Sliced Pork with Green Apple in Sweet and Sour Sauce
I haven't tried this dish yet. While sweet and sour pork is a very popular Chinese dish, this version of Xin Tian Di is cooked with green apple, instead of the usual pineapple or lychee. Being Xin Tian Di's top 3 best-selling dish, I think this is worth try on my next visit here.
4. Stir-fried Wagyu Beef Striploin with Black Pepper Soya
This is a premium dish of Wagyu Beef seasoned with Himalayan pink salt, pan-fried, sliced, and served on a bed of French string beans with a drizzle of Chinese black pepper soya sauce. The meat was very tender and moist while the flavor was rich in umami.
5. Wok-Fried Beef Tenderloin with Goose Liver in Black Pepper Sauce
This is another dish I haven't tried yet. Beef tenderloin in black pepper sauce sounds very appetizing already. Then adding goose liver to this dish makes it even more delectable. I can't wait to try this one.
6. Steamed Lobster Dumpling Topped with Black Truffle
This premium dumpling is generously filled with lobster meat and topped with minced black truffle. A bite of this dumpling is immediately followed by a burst of flavors, a mix of umami and sweetness from the lobster. A piece of steamed lobster dumpling is equivalent to about three pieces of hakaw.
7. Steamed Shrimp Dumpling (Hakaw)
Those translucent dumplings are filled with plump and juicy shrimps which tasted fresh and sweet. We recommend adding a bit of chili-garlic paste to enhance the taste of the dumpling. Each order comes with five pieces of hakaw.
8. Steamed Pork Dumpling with Crab Roe (Siomai)
Xin Tian Di's siomai are firm, chewy, yet juicy. The dumpling must have been made with more pork meat and less fat. The crab roe added umami to the taste. Each order includes five pieces of siomai.
9. Buchi Surprise
The unofficial signature dessert of Xin Tian Di, these glutinous rice balls are filled with chocolate and fried until crispy. The chocolate filling is unexpected from the green color of the buchi. This is indeed a crowd favorite here at Xin Tian Di.
10. Stir-fried Garden Vegetable with Homemade Tofu in Garlic
No Cantonese dining is complete without stir-fried vegetables. I think this will go well with dim sum. I will surely try this one as well.
