The Classic Room is the lead-in guestroom category of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay. It measures 27 square meters and is available in Queen bed and Twin beds configuration. The Classic Room has a private balcony with a garden view.
Accor Plus members can avail a complimentary night in this room using the Stay Plus benefit. If you book in advance, you may also get the chance to book this room with the Accor Plus Red Hot Room rate with discounts of up to 50% off.
We stayed in room B4203 during this visit. Our room has a queen-sized bed, a chair with an ottoman, a work desk, and a private bathroom. The air-conditioning was able to maintain the in-door temperature within my preferred range of 20°C-23°C, even during the hot months of the dry season.
Our balcony faces the resort's verdant garden. There are two chairs and a coffee table here. This is the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee in the morning while listening to the relaxing chirping of birds.
The Classic Room is equipped with a 32-inch LED TV with local and international channels. The TV is placed on top of the minibar cabinet which houses a mini-fridge. There is also a coffee and tea-making facility stored inside the minibar. Complimentary bottled water, instant coffee, and tea Twinings tea bags are provided and replenished daily.
The work desk is located right next to the minibar and TV. It has more than enough workspace for a laptop and mouse. Desk-level wall outlets can support types A, B, and C plugs. The complimentary internet was fast enough to support video streaming and calls via MS Teams.
The bed comes with a comfortable mattress with well-balanced firmness and softness. A total of four pillows were provided. Power outelts are available on both sides of the bed so you can charge your gadgets next to you while you sleep.
The room's closet cabinet is located next to the main entrance door. It has enough space to hang clothes for a week-long stay. The in-room safe is also found here. Bathrobes and bedroom slippers are also stored inside the cabinet.
The bathroom is fitted with a single vanity as well as a toilet with bidet spray. Vanity and dental kits are placed on the countertop. Towels are generously provided.
The walk-in shower features a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Water pressure was excellent and hot water was instantaneously available.
Guests staying at Mövenpick Boracay are provided with Island Breeze branded bath amenities. The complete set includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. The products have a mild coconut scent that complements the tropical beach vibe of the resort.
