Guests arriving at The Market for the breakfast buffet will be welcomed by a wide selection of bread and pastries. There are assorted French pastries including fruit danish and flaky croissants. Freshly baked bread loaves and bread slices, as well as bread rolls and even local bread, are also available.
The breakfast buffet spread also includes Filipino and Western hot dishes. There's a section for breakfast cereals, yogurt, garden salad, and fresh fruits. There is also a live cooking station where you can order egg dishes, omelets, pancakes, and waffles. Noodle dishes and rice porridge are also served.
Guests also enjoy the breakfast buffet with free-flowing fruit juices, coffee, espresso, and tea. Here are some of the breakfast items we tried during our six-day stay at Mövenpick Boracay.
French pastries such as croissant, pain au chocolat, and fruit danish were soft and flaky. They all went perfectly well with cappuccino.
This congee is topped with fried dilis (anchovies), toasted garlic, and scallions. Arroz caldo (chicken rice porridge) and champorado (Filipino chocolate rice porridge) were also served.
The waffle was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I topped it with crispy bacon and drizzled them with maple syrup. I also had it with a sunny-side egg.
This plate includes fried rice with chicken afritada (local stew), dating na bangus (fried milkfish), chicken sausage, and pork sausage.
This plate includes sotanghon guisado (sauteed vermicelli noodles), butter-braised cabbage, and fried dilis (local anchovies)
This plate includes bihon guisado (sauteed rice noodles), Hungarian sausages, and buttered vegetables.
Fresh cut fruits such as red and yellow watermelon. Pineapple, melon, papaya, and mangoes were also available.
