The Premium Room is the second to the highest guestroom category of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay. This corner room has a total of 48 square meters of space and it features a private balcony with a view of the lagoon garden and a partial view of the sea.
We stayed in Room B4415 during this visit. The room is located on the fourth floor of building B which stands right next to the resort's all-day dining restaurant. The balcony faces the southwest direction, offering a view of the neighboring resort and of the beach.
Compared to the Superior Sea View Room, this Premium Sea View Room (B4415) is located near the beach and the swimming pool. The view is also less obstructed by trees. Note however that this side of building B does not have an elevator.
When you first enter the door, there is a full-height wardrobe closet on your right where you can store your clothes and luggage. There is more than enough space to hang clothes for a week-long stay. The in-room safe is also found here.
Walking further into the room, you will be welcomed by a wide open space between the bed on one side and the furniture pieces on the other side. The air-conditioning did an excellent job in maintaining the indoor temperature within my preferred range of 20°C-23°C.
The Premium Sea View Room is furnished with a king-sized bed featuring a mattress with well-balanced firmness and softness. Power outlets are available on both sides of the bed. Next to the bed is a sofa.
The Premium Sea View Room is the most spacious among all the guestroom categories of the resort. With enough space for one to two extra beds, this room is ideal for small families or for a group of friends.
The balcony is accessible from a sliding glass door located at the corner of the room. When you first walk onto the balcony, you will be greeted by a view of the neighboring resort (Crimson Boracay). There are two chairs and a coffee table on this side of the balcony.
The other side of the balcony is directly facing the beachfront. This is a great spot to watch the paraw sail boats and the Boracay sunset in the afternoon. To get the best view, make sure you request for room B4415. The view from the rooms on the lower floors may be obstructed by trees.
The Premium Sea View Room is equipped with a 32-inch LED TV with local and international channels. The TV stands on a cupboard that serves as the minibar. It houses a mini-fridge and a coffee and tea-making facility. Complimentary bottled water, instant coffee, and Twinings tea bags are provided and replenished daily.
There is a dedicated work desk located next to the TV. The complimentary internet was fast enough to support calls via MS Teams. Desk-level wall outlets can support types A, B, and C plugs.
The bathroom features a single vanity with plenty of countertop space for your personal toiletries. Vanity and dental kits, as well as towels and bathrobes, are provided. The toilet is fitted with a bidet spray.
The walk-in shower features a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Water pressure was excellent and hot water was instantaneously available.
Guests staying at Mövenpick Boracay are provided with Island Breeze branded bath amenities. The complete set includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. The products have a mild coconut scent that complements the tropical beach vibe of the resort.
