MÖVENPICK BORACAY
The Superior Room is one of the six guestroom categories of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay. It measures 31 square meters and is available in King bed and Twin beds configuration. The Superior Sea View Room has a private balcony overlooking the resort with a view of the sea in the background.
We stayed in Room A1406 during this visit. The west-facing room is located on the fourth floor of building A which stands right next to the resort's reception pavilion. There are resort buggies that can transport you to the beach area, the swimming pool, the restaurants, and back.
When you first walk into the room, you will find a full-height mirror on the side wall and the closet cabinet next to the bathroom door. The wardrobe closet has enough storage space for a week-long stay. The in-room safe is also found here.
The room features earth colors with plenty of wood finishings. The side wall is designed with palm trees that bring in the tropical vibe of the resort. The air-conditioning did an excellent job in maintaining the indoor temperature within my preferred range of 20°C-23°C.
There is a wall-mounted desk that can serve as work or dining space. Desk-level wall outlets can support types A, B, and C plugs. The hotel's complimentary internet was able to support video streaming on YouTube and calls via MS Teams.
The Superior Sea View Room is equipped with a 32-inch LED TV with local and international channels. There is a bench with storage space for shoes. it also doubles as a luggage rack.
The TV stands on a cupboard that serves as the minibar. It houses a mini-fridge and a coffee and tea-making facility. Complimentary bottled water, instant coffee, and Twinings tea bags are provided and replenished daily.
The bed comes with a comfortable mattress with well-balanced firmness and softness. A total of four pillows were provided. Power outelts are available on both sides of the bed. Next to the bed is a chair with an ottoman.
The balcony is accessible from a sliding glass door next to the bed. The sitting area offers an excellent vantage point to watch the sunset. A clothes drying rack is also found here on the balcony.
The bathroom features a single vanity with plenty of countertop space for your personal toiletries. Vanity and dental kits, as well as towels and bathrobes, are provided. The toilet is fitted with a bidet spray.
The walk-in shower features a rainfall showerhead and a handheld showerhead. Water pressure was strong and hot water was instantaneously available.
Guests staying at Mövenpick Boracay are provided with Island Breeze branded bath amenities. The mild coconut scent of the products complements the resort's beach vibe. The complete set includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion.
