The CATCH Sustainable Seafood Dinner Buffet is available every Friday at HEAT Restaurant, the all-day dining and buffet restaurant of Edsa Shangri-La Manila. All buffet stations showcase dishes made with sustainable seafood. You can also have fresh seafood cooked to your liking.
For only P3,500 nett per person, you will enjoy a wide selection of dishes made with lobster, crab, spanner crab (curacha), river prawn (ulang), prawn, oyster, mussel, clam, and a wide assortment of fish.
Shangri-La Circle Members
This buffet offer qualifies for earning Shangri-La Circle Points, so make sure to privide your Shangri-La Circle member number when settling your bill. You can likewise pay using your Shangri-La Circle Points.
Sample Plates
Here are some of the dishes I tried during my recent visit (August 12, 2022). These dishes only represent a small fraction of what is offered in the buffet. Although there are a few non-seafood dishes available, I decided to skip them and focused on some of the highlights of the CATCH Sustainable Seafood Dinner Buffet.
This plate includes two seafood salads plus some Japanese items: Salmon Salad, Shrimp Ceviche, Ebi Tempura, Mackarel Nigiri, Beer Nigiri, Marinated Salmon.
From the Noodles Station: Here is a Laksa with shrimp and fishcakes. The broth is Singapore Laksa style but not spicy. I had it with egg noodles.
Here is a plate with Fish Biryani from the Indian Station plus Ikan Bakar (Indonesian Grilled Fish), Tuna Tapa (Filipino) Sweet and Sour Fish (Chinese), and Fish Kebab (Middle Eastern).
Here are some samplers from the Louisiana Boiled Seafood Station. I had the river prawns, spanner crab (curacha), corn and potato, plus mussels in creamy butter sauce. This for me was the highlight of my visit.
For dessert, I had these three cakes plus ice cream (not in the photo): Irish Coffee Mousse, Linzer Torte, and Opera Cake.

Here are the dishes served in the buffet when I visited. Do note that the menu is subject to change, so some of the items here may be different on your day of visit. Not included in the photos are these cheeses, cold cuts, and fresh fruits.
