The One-Bedroom Suite is the highest room category of Holiday Inn Cebu City. With a total floor area of 48 square meters, the One-Bedroom Suite is the largest room category and is the only one with a separate bedroom and living room.
When you enter the suite, you will immediately find the walk-in closet next to the entrance door. The cabinet has enough storage space for a week-long stay. Inside the cabinet is a side compartment that houses the ironing board.
Further into the suite is the living area. The space is furnished with a sofa, a center table, a window-side bench with an attached work desk. The complimentary wifi was fairly fast during my stay and could support calls via Zoom and MS Teams.
Guests staying in a One-Bedroom Suite will have a view of the Cebu Business Park. The towering trees in front of the hotel are a refreshing sight in this very busy district of Cebu City. This is a west-facing window.
The living room is equipped with a 45-inch LED TV that comes with local and international channels. It also has its own AC with the controls found next to the walk-in closet entrance.
The minibar features an electronic kettle, Twinings tea bags, and instant coffee. Complimentary bottled water is also provided. There are no chargeable items stored inside the mini refrigerator.
In-room dining here at Holiday Inn Cebu City is available 24/7. I tried the Nasi Goreng during my stay. It was actually quite good. The chicken satay tasted very authentic and the rice wasn't too spicy. My order arrived in less than 30 minutes.
A sliding door separates the bedroom from the living area. The One-Bedroom Suite features a king bed with a comfortable mattress and premium bedding. Beside the bed is an armchair and an ottoman.
The wall-to-wall glass window brings a lot of natural light throughout the day. After sunset, you can take in the business district's nightscape from the window-side armchair.
As with any Holiday Inn hotels and resorts, guests here at Holiday Inn Cebu City are provided with the signature Soft & Firm Pillows. On either side of the bed, there are desk-level universal outlets and light switches.
The bedroom also has its own 45-inch LED TV. In case you are sharing the suite with another person, one could watch the TV in the living room while the other one in the bedroom. The bedroom's AC also worked perfectly.
There is a sliding door in the bedroom that leads to the bathroom. The door can be closed off for privacy. The bathroom is fitted with double vanity, a separate bathtub, and a walk-in shower. The bathroom has a secondary sliding door that leads to the walk-in closet and the separate toilet.
The shower is fitted with a handheld showerhead, no rainfall shower, unfortunately. Nonetheless, the water pressure was consistently strong during my stay. SOAK body and bath amenities are provided in pump bottles. SOAK is a skincare brand by Sydney-based Vanity Group.
Guests are provided with towels along with other bathroom amenities such as dental kits, a shaving kit, a vanity kit, a comb, and a shower cap.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this One-Bedroom Suite at Holiday Inn Cebu City. The compact space was smartly designed so that guests can comfortably move around. I recommend this room category to couples with young kids.
