Holiday Inn Cebu City is an upscale hotel located in Cebu Business Park, one of the premier business and commercial districts of Cebu City, Philippines. Holiday Inn Cebu City is the first Holiday Inn property to open in the Visayas region. The Holiday Inn brand is part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
Holiday Inn Cebu City is situated along Samar Loop, a row of buildings that house local and foreign companies such as banks and business process outsourcing (BPO) offices. Guests staying at Holiday Inn Cebu City also enjoy convenient access to the Ayala Center Cebu shopping mall.
Entering the lobby, guests will be welcomed by a seating area that features rattan pendant lighting and furniture that showcases the artisanal craftsmanship of Cebu. The bamboo weaving pattern on the floor is also consistent with this theme.
The Holiday Inn Cebu City front desk team was very friendly and welcoming and they processed my check-in very efficiently. My key cards were ready in no time and I was assisted by the team to my room.

Open Lobby
Holiday Inn Cebu City has an "open lobby" concept where the front desk, reception, lobby, lounge area, and business center are combined into one open space.
Here is where guests can socialize with friends or hold casual meetings with colleagues and business partners. Soon to open here is a café where guests can easily grab a snack or coffee.
There are also computer stations which guests can use to browse the internet or catch-up on emails. Wi-Fi and power outlets are also available here.
Here is one of the computer stations in the lobby which I used while waiting for my GrabCar to arrive. The internet here was also fast enough to play YouTube videos.
Rooms & Suites
Holiday Inn Cebu City has 180 well-appointed rooms and suites, all equipped with a spacious work desk, a 45-inch LED TV with local and international channels, Wi-Fi internet, comfortable beddings, soft and firm pillows, coffee and tea making facility, and a mini bar.

The Standard Room is the lead in room category of Holiday Inn Cebu City. The room measures 25 square meters and is available with a king bed or two twin beds. The Standard Room features a spacious sitting area, an open shelf closet, and bathroom with walk in shower.

The Suite Room is the largest room category of Holiday Inn Cebu City. The room measures 34 square meters and is furnished with a king bed, a sitting area with coffee table, and a separate work desk. The Standard Room features a closet cabinet, minibar, and a bathroom with separate bathtub and walk in shower.

The One-Bedroom Suite is the highest room category of Holiday Inn Cebu City. With a total floor area of 48 square meters, the One-Bedroom Suite is the largest room category and is the only one with a separate bedroom and living room.

Fitness & Wellness Facilities
Holiday Inn Cebu City has an outdoor swimming pool located on the 7th floor. There is a 0.35-meter (1'2") section that is safe for kids while the 1.15-meter (3'9") section is ideal for lap swimming. Loungers and towels are available for guests.
Also located on the 7th floor is the hotel's 24-hour fitness center. It is equipped with treadmills, gym bikes, fitness machines, benches, and free weights. In-house guests can access the fitness center using their room keycards.
Transportation
Holiday Inn Cebu City is located approximately 12 kilometers from Mactan Cebu International Airport which serves flights to and from key cities in the Philippines, Asia, and the Middle East.
- Airport Transfer - I recommend the GRAB ride-hailing app. When booking a ride from the airport, make sure that you select Holiday Inn Cebu City as your destination. Fare ranges between PHP500 to PHP600 depending on the type of GrabCar and the time of booking.
- Moving Around - I also recommend using the GRAB ride-hailing app when traveling around the metropolitan Cebu area.
