CHINA BLUE BY JEREME LEUNG
Celebrity Master Chef Jereme Leung recently visited Manila to launch the
Majestic Harvest menu featuring new dishes he developed for
China Blue by Jereme Leung, the premier Chinese restaurant of
Conrad Manila.
For the whole month of October 2022, diners can sample Chef Jereme's newest culinary creations thru the
Majestic Harvest 6-course Tasting Menu. Diners can likewise order individual dishes from the
Majestic Harvest a la carte menu. Some, if not all, of these new dishes will eventually become part of the regular a la carte menu of the restaurant.
Chef Jereme Leung is known for his modern Chinese cuisine which uses regional Chinese ingredients and spices, prepared in traditional Chinese cooking methods, and presented in a very modern way. In addition to China Blue by Jereme Leung in Manila, Chef Jereme also has restaurants located in Singapore, Bangkok, Maldives, Macao, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Hangzhou.
Majestic Harvest 6-Course Tasting Menu
The
Majestic Harvest 6-Course Tasting Menu includes a platter of appetizers, a soup dish, two main dishes, a noodle dish, and dessert. It is available daily for lunch and dinner for ₱6,988 nett per person. Advance reservation is highly recommended.

texture was very similar to meat and the sauce enhanced the umami of the mushroom
Deep-Fried Egg White Pillow Spring Roll with Sea Urchin Black Garlic
I enjoyed the combination of the flavors and the contrast of textures
Stir-Fried Fresh Abalone with Teochew Sauce
the tartness of the sauce brightens up the taste of the abalone, the cucumber adds a crunchiness to the texture and freshness to the taste
Pan-Fried Shao Hsing Yellow Wine Chicken Pancake with Black Caviar
very plump with well-balanced umami from the chicken and sweetness from the Shao Hsing wine
Baked Coconut Superior Soup Stock with Pork and Shrimp Dumpling, Dry Scallop, with Puff Pastry
double-boiled soup in coconut shell covered with puff pastry, the dumpling and the dry scallop added umami and aroma to the naturally sweet coconut-based soup
Wok-Fried Lobster with Mongolian Creamy Pepper Sauce and Rice Pops
the sauce is made with Sichuan chili bean paste, black pepper, and milk, reminds me of the creamy and spicy laksa sauce
Pan-Fried Beef Tenderloin with Crispy Preserved Radish
the beef was super tender and covered with a mildly sweet and salty sauce
Braised White Misua, Sea Clam Onion Ginger Sauce with Shrimp Roe
delicate misua with rich umami from the sea clams, a very comforting dish
Pan-Fried Coconut Matcha Pancake Pairing with Peanut Satay Ice Cream
enjoyed munching on the matcha pancake, interesting satay flavor for ice cream, I loved the peanut taste with a hint of spiciness
