Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is a five-star luxury resort located along Seminyak Beach, on the west coast of Bali, Indonesia. The resort features spacious guestrooms, suites, and villas with a contemporary design influenced by the local culture, history, and architecture.
Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach opened back in July 2017 marking the entry of the Hotel Indigo brand in Indonesia. It is also the very first Hotel Indigo property to open in a resort location, none better than the island of Bali. Hotel Indigo is a boutique hotel brand of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group).

Public Spaces
Arriving guests will be welcomed by the expansive lobby area of the resort. Nicknamed the "Neighbourhood Gallery," this public space features design elements inspired by the art and culture of Bali. The design of the ceiling, for example, interprets the geometric pattern of traditional Balinese weaving textile called Tenun Songket.
The pendant lamps are inspired by Balinese umbrellas and fishing baskets. The seating area offers a comfortable spot for guests waiting for their room to be ready. This is also the ideal meeting point for guests.
The resort also has courtyards and gardens that are accessible from the main restaurant. These are perfect for morning or afternoon strolls amidst tall trees and flowering plants. These courtyards stretch all the way to the beachfront.

The room measures 50 square meters and is available in 1 king bed and 2 single bed configurations. This room category is located on the upper floor with a private balcony overlooking the resort's gardens.

Makase
Makase is the all-day dining and buffet restaurant of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach serving Indonesian and international cuisines including Italian, American, Chinese, Thai, and Indian. The restaurant is open to both in-house guests and walk-in guests. Makase is also the main breakfast venue of the resort.
SugarSand
SugarSand is a beach club located on Jalan Double Six along Bali's Seminyak Beach. It features an infinity pool, a restaurant, a bar, as well as event spaces. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serves Western cuisine and local seafood which are best paired with creative cocktails.
Breakfast Buffet
The Breakfast Buffet at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is served daily at Makase. The spread includes local Indonesian as well as Western, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian options. There are live cooking stations for egg dishes, fried rice, and noodles.
Swimming Pools
Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has three swimming pools that you can enjoy during your stay. The main swimming pool is located in the resort's courtyard. It is surrounded by loungers and cabanas.
The main pool is perfect for morning lap swimming. While you are here, you can also order snacks and drinks from Cave Pool Lounge.
The second swimming pool, also called Secret Pool, is a dipping pool tucked in a smaller courtyard with lush trees and gardens. This adults-only pool has integrated jacuzzis and is surrounded by loungers and day beds.
The Secret Pool is not as busy as the Main Swimming Pool due to its concealed location. This makes the Secret Pool ideal for guests and couples seeking relaxation and serenity. Drinks and snacks can also be ordered here.
The third swimming pool is located at SugarSand, the resort's beach club. This swimming pool is open to all in-house guests as well as guests dining at SugarSand. This pool is perfect for sundowner sessions.
Fitness & Wellness Facilities
Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has a 24/7 Health Club featuring TRX suspension training equipment, free weights, and state-of-the-art cardio equipment. Private yoga sessions and private boxing sessions can also be booked for a fee.

Transportation
Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is located approximately 10 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport, the main domestic and international gateway for travelers to the island of Bali.
- Airport Transfer - I recommend the GRAB Lounge located in the international arrival area. You can either book your ride with your Grab application or have the staff book a ride for you. The fare ranges between IDR 230,000 to IDR 320,000 depending on the type of GrabCar (Airport DPS 4-seater or Premium Airport 6-seater) and the time of booking. Travel time is around 30 minutes.
- Hotel Transport Service - The most convenient way to travel between the hotel and the airport is via the hotel's transport service. Arriving guests will welcomed by the hotel's staff at the airport arrival hall. Rates start at IDR 350,000. You must book this at least 24 hours in advance.
- Third-Party Transport Service - You can book a third-party airport transfer service through Klook. Private transport providers and Bluebird Taxi are also available in the international arrival area.
- Moving Around - I also recommend using the GRAB ride-hailing app when traveling around Seminyak, Kuta, Canggu, Jimbaran, Denpasar, Sanur, Nusa Dua, and Uluwatu areas.
