AppleOne Signs Agreement with Marriott International to Bring the JW Marriott Luxury Brand to Panglao Island, Philippines

PANGLAO ISLAND, Philippines (June 19, 2023) -- AppleOne Properties Inc today announced that it has signed an agreement with Marriott International Inc to develop JW Marriott Panglao Island Resort & Spa. This marks the debut of the JW Marriott luxury brand in the Philippines.

This signing follows AppleOne's successful opening of Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort in 2022, strengthening the position of the Philippine islands of Mactan and Panglao as emerging destinations for upscale travelers. Panglao is the main gateway to the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark and JW Marriott Panglao is an excellent base for visitors who wish to explore this natural wonder.

Once open, Marriott Bonvoy members should definitely include Panglao Island to their Southeast Asian itinerary.
