lyf Malate Manila opened on June 30, 2023, marking the debut of the lyf brand in the Philippines. The One of a Kind (Studio) measures 21 square meters and features a queen-sized bed, a window-side work desk, a walk-in rainfall shower, and an open-plan vanity. This studio is ideal for solo travelers and couples. Guests here enjoy complimentary use of the co-living spaces and facilities on the UG1 level and the social kitchen and outdoor lounge on the rooftop level.

The Side by Side (Studio) measures 21 square meters and features two twin beds, a window-side work desk, a walk-in rainfall shower, and an open plan vanity. This studio can accommodate up to two persons. Guests here enjoy complimentary use of the co-living spaces and facilities on the UG1 level and the social kitchen and outdoor lounge on the rooftop level.

The All Together (2 Bedroom) serviced apartment measures 67 square meters and features two bedrooms, a dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom. Each bedroom has its own key-card lock and is furnished with a queen bed and a work desk. This apartment can accommodate up to four persons. Guests here also enjoy complimentary use of the co-living spaces and facilities on the UG1 level and the social kitchen and outdoor lounge on the rooftop level.

The All Together (4 Bedroom) serviced apartment measures 103 square meters and features four bedrooms, a spacious dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and two private bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own key-card lock and a work desk. Two bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed while the other two bedrooms have two twin beds each. This apartment can accommodate up to eight persons. Guests here also enjoy complimentary use of the co-living spaces and facilities on the UG1 level and the social kitchen and outdoor lounge on the rooftop level.
Co-Living Spaces and Facilities on UG1
Most of the co-living spaces and facilities of lyf Malate Manila are located on the UG1 level, including communal lounges, co-working spaces, a self-service laundrette, and a fitness center. Complimentary wifi internet is available here. These facilities are open 24/7.
CONNECT features the co-living and co-working spaces of lyf Malate Manila. Here is the communal lounge with seats and tables for solo guests and groups. There is a kiosk where you can purchase coffee, bottled drinks, and snacks.
Here is the CONNECT co-working area with tables and chairs that can be configured to accommodate groups of various sizes. This area is equipped with universal power outlets and a flat-screen TV.
The NOOK is a quiet zone that features individual pods with a work desk, bench, and power outlets. These pods are ideal for TEAMS/ZOOM calls. These pods are also excellent should you wish to take a power nap between meetings.
Going to the laundrette from the co-living spaces, you will pass through this small entertainment area that features bean bags and a table soccer. Games are a fun way to take a break from online work and back-to-back meetings.
The laundrette features self-service washer and dryer combo machines. Tokens are available for purchase at the reception desk. Use of the iron and ironing boards is free of charge.
There is also a lounge area at the laundrette where you can sit and relax while waiting for your clothes to get cleaned and dried.
Next to the laundrette is a vendo machine fully stocked with chips and canned sodas.
Located at the far end of UG1 is the 24/7 fitness center. It is equipped with treadmills, a stationary bicycle, free weights, and a strength-training machine. There is also a drinking water dispenser here.
Social Kitchen and Rooftop Lounge
Located on the rooftop level is the BOND social kitchen. It is a communal kitchen with a total of four kitchen counters, allowing multiple guests to use the facilities at the same time. The social kitchen is available 24/7.
The social kitchen is equipped with cooker hobs, combi-microwave ovens, rice cookers, electric pancake makers, and refrigerators. glassware, crockery, cutlery, and utensils are also provided. We did use the social kitchen during our third stay here at lyf Malate Manila.
Here's our breakfast of hotdogs, fried eggs, and bread. Please note that "clean as you go" is practiced here at BOND social kitchen, which means that you have to wash all the cooking pans, plates, and utensils after use. Also note that you have to label your food and drinks with your name when storing them in the fridge.
There is an outdoor lounge located on the rooftop level. It serves as a communal dining area. This is also an excellent spot to work in the morning or afternoon while enjoying the cool breeze and panoramic views of the city.
Dining, Shopping & Grocery
lyf Malate Manila does not have an in-house restaurant, but the property is surrounded by local and international restaurants and cafes. Three blocks away is the Robinsons Place Manila mall which houses more options for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Guests staying at lyf Malate Manila can also shop for groceries at the mall's Robinsons Supermarket. They have fresh meats, vegetables, and fruits, as well as frozen and canned meat products. Bottled beverages are also sold here.
